The Belief of the Muslims

Islam  is  the religion  of  the  Muslims.    Unlike many  other religions, Islam  is  not  named  after  a particular  person,  or  tribe,  or  nation.  Islam  literally  means  “submission,”  and  in  the  religious context, Islam means submission to the “Divine Orders of the Creator.”  According to statistics, there are more than one billion Muslims worldwide.  Muslims come in all colors and practically all nationalities.  Islam is not a religion for people of a particular race, language, or country.  Islam is for all of humanity.   Because of extremists and terrorists who commit evil acts in the name of Islam, many people are confused about the genuine message of Islam itself.  The essence of Islam is in the Declaration of Faith (Shahadah): “Nothing deserves to be worshiped except Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.”  The word “Allah” is the Name of the Creator (God) in the Arabic language.  Muslims believe that the Creator alone should be worshiped and not any of the creations.   This universe could not be “selfcreated,” and it could not be beginningless.  The universe must have  a start,  and  it  must  have  a  […]
